Susan is a Contemporary Figurative Artist whose work is classically rendered in pencil, pastel and paint, as well as mixed media. She creates somewhat imaginal but realist work that delves into the universal female yearning for connection - both within and without. Her art explores these inner journeys through the lens of narrative metaphor. Her inspirations come from her love of myth and magic and their abiding presence in everyday life. She has always believed that the more private the emotional inner journey, the more universal the message.
