From my earliest childhood growing up in Louisiana, I have been drawing and sketching the world around me. As I have pursued artistic learning, I have been privileged to study with inspiring teachers who were talented artists.
I have mainly focused on oil painting, although I occasionally work in pastel as well. I enjoy painting with both brushes and painting knives, always hoping to achieve bold, painterly effects as I paint a variety of subjects, from landscapes to people to wildlife to still lifes. Fortunately, I live in a city with a vibrant arts community. My works can be seen at Gallery123 in Norman, Oklahoma.
I am a member of Palette Knife Painters, American Impressionist Society, Oklahoma Art Guild, and the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition.
