I first painted when I was 7 in the first grade...got the award for best artist......as a child walked the French Quarter with my parents and dreamed of being an artist in Jackson Square. In 1997 decided to paint as I became great friends with the late great Charlie Ward,famous painter of Jazz musicians in the Square.In 1999, I moved to the Virgin Islands to develop 2 Nuclear Medicine labs on St.Thomas and St.Croix....my interest in vibrant colors emerged while living 7 years in this beautiful, colorful paradise in the West Indies. I came to New Orleans after Katrina and finally had my dream come true,getting my first permit to paint in Jackson Square in 2003. It was wonderful. In 2009 I met a master stained glass artist from Spain and for a year learned under this wonderful woman how to do fused glass,mosaics,stained glass.etc. It was the most wonderful experience in my life. I am presently back in good Ole New Orleans where my SAINTS just won the Superbowl!!!! Who Dat!!! lIfe is beautiful..its a pleasure to be on FAA with so many talented and nice artists. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy yours!!
