Terrance DePietro has been an exhibiting artist (painter) since the early 1970s. His work has been exhibited in group and one-person shows internationally - New York, Paris, Quebec and Montreal. During the 1990s DePietro maintained a studio in Quebec City. He has his main studio in Palenville, New York, for more than thirty years. In addition. he now shares a studio in Montreal. His work for the last twenty five years is involved with the issues that spring forth from the subject of the sublime. Expressionistic abstractions of the sublime kind, would be a handle for his work (Abstract-Sublime).
Terrance works mainly in oil techniques but also explores with many waterbased traditional mediums. He makes his own paints which allows him a tremendous flexability.
