I thought nof leaving a book of my journey with my art, when I die. I could call it. From obscurity to virtual unknown. The paintings of a NZ. Self taught amatuer. This to keep my art alive in my own country when i'm gone. Liver cancer. Hard to beat, but I must, as still work to do. Chemotheraphy started on the 29th november 2012. My falure to market my work has lead me to realize that am still an amature. The doing has always been more important to me than the selling. My reward has been the satisfaction in the creation of a good painting. That is when I succeed. I have always tried to learn from each finished work, successful or not. Good art requires good seeing.
