About L Brown

I have only been making art for a few years now, but I am seeing some positive results... My main interests include digital art in the form of: antique world cartography, nebula photos, prehistoric cave wall paintings and drawings, historic documents, American Flags, abstract American Flags, locomotives, planes, holiday art, flowers, astronomy and space, charcoal, watercolor, oil, abstracts, butterflies, and animals. I was born in San Jose, California in 1953. In 1954 we moved to the suburbs of Detroit Michigan. We moved again to the suburbs of Chicago in 1956. Due to my Dadís employment. So I have lived Penna. in since then. I grew up on a small farm in Pennsylvania and was inducted into the National Honor Society in high school. I was on the Dean's List a few times and earned my degrees in biology and natural science at Muhlenberg, a small liberal arts college, in the mid 70s. The art history course I took in my senior year at Muhlenberg College and did extremely well in, was very educational, and I enjoyed it. I went on to earn my doctorate in Philadelphia in the late 70s. Unfortunately with my advancing age, multiple unexpected health complications have interrupted a very active professional lifestyle and I have opted for a less active, less stressful, low key way of life, much of which is centered around art. Moving and growing in a positive direction, maintaining a positive mental attitude and a positive sense of well-being are very important aspects of a successful lifestyle and my art tries to reflect that to some degree...
Some of my art does not focus on the fine intricate details of the image. I concentrate more on the subject, mood, color, composition, texture, action, and deeper meaning behind the art.
I have always enjoyed art, but now in studying and creating it, I have found an opportunity to express myself more openly and my creativity and art skills are developing more and more. As time permits, I want to become more active in this area. .

I hope you will take some time to review my Christian Biblical Art Gallery Description while you are here today. There is some important information there I would like to give you.
