Creativity is my heart.
As a child I drew everything I saw and made my own paste to create pictures and art. Not having extra money, coming from a family of 7, actual paint was a rare treat. It was unfortunate that I had to wait so long to have my dream, but I didn't give up.
I chose to go into the Electric industry and am very successful in my career but have always painted in my spare time doing murals in my home, refurbishing furniture and sewing, making window treatments, quilts and anything I'm asked to do.
Recently I made the decision to follow my dream, in the spare time that I have.
I have started working with non-profit organizations, painting to raise money to help them.
Portrait Of A Soul is a non profit that partners with amazing artists and Childrens Hospitals around the country to do portraits of children with Cranial Facial Disorders. They are successful showing the inner beauty of these children and bringing knowledge to the public about their condition.
Purposeful Painting is a non profit that have artists paint together and have live painting benefits to raise money for families struggling to make it.
I'm also part of The Art House, which is an INKAA education program that showcases local artists and offers art education to all ages.
In 2014 I decided to open TSO - (T. Simos Originals)
TSO is my painting business and It is growing daily. I'm so honored every time someone shows interest in something I create.
