A virtual gallery of Fine Art & Nature photography by Thomas Schoeller. We meet the needs of the Art buyer!
PRINT PRODUCTS: The prints and framing are an artistic skill unto themselves, I do not handle this on my own. I use the wonderful print labs at Fine Art America's North Carolina facility to handle anything you place for purchase in the shopping cart. This allows me to concentrate on the photographic and artistic quality of my business. Fine Art prints are offered right here in a variety of mediums. We offer several museum grade archival quality print papers, Canvas prints, Metal and Acrylic Prints.
I do invite you to contact me direct to discuss any options, or answer any question you may have. As a matter of fact, I highly encourage it! Rather than just simply adding a print to the shopping cart, I can help guide you to assure that you get what you desire. I am not an invisible artist, speaking to my clients is always an amazing thrill. You can contact me direct here on my virtual gallery, or contact me through the official homepage website ThomasSchoellerPhotography.com

ADDITIONAL PRINT OPTIONS: I tend to limit my print sizes on-line to 36' or 40' on this website, however if LARGER prints are what you desire I can provide this service to you through yet another professional fine art print lab I've used the last decade. If you are interested in any print I offer on-line at 36', I can actually have it printed any size from 38' to 50' in most cases! Keep in mind, these prints will not be framed due to the size, instead they will be mailed in shipping tubes. I also offer a new product called Gatorboard Prints, which can be mounted into a frame or displayed on your wall the moment it arrives. I would be happy to provide more information upon request. The maximum size for Gatorboard prints is 40'.
SIGNED ARTIST STATEMENTS: Thomas is happy to provide you with a signed artist statement upon request with any 12' or larger art purchase. We believe your Fine Art purchase is an investment to be enjoyed for decades and having a signed Artist statement is a form of a 'Certificate of Authenticity' to preserve your investment. Use the CONTACT link near Tom's profile photo and tell us with the title(s) of the artwork purchased and a mailing address. We will cheerfully mail you statements at no charge.
ABOUT: Tom is a freelance professional photographer of Fine Art and Stock images. A lifetime naturalist, he loves the outdoors and feels a responsibility to use his skills to create awareness of our treasured resources and scenic landscapes. He specializes in scenic landscapes, nature, abstract and semi-abstract in nature. Thomas creates unique and expressive landscapes with a style all his own. He resides in the scenic Litchfield Hills of northwestern Connecticut. Capturing the essence and pace of time, his native New England makes up a large volume of his portfolio.
PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION: Tom is an alumni of the 'New England Photographers Guild' having served proudly from November '12 until May '14. The Guild has a reputation as a select group of skilled photographers with a shared passion of the New England region. Tom authored 6 published articles during his tenure, having volunteered his services to arrange art shows and offer support to many members with his own fine art marketing skills.
Commercially, Tom also is an artwork provider for several fine products distributed and sold globally. Notably, he has licensed to 'White Mountain Puzzles, Inc.' They are the leader in high quality jigsaw puzzles and distribute worldwide. To find Tom's New England themed artwork as an attractive puzzle just go to WhiteMountainPuzzles.com In addition, Tom recently began to license his artwork to 'Wood Inked', which creates beautiful products on wood with a unique application process. Wood Inked distributes to numerous high end retailers with a reputation for quality. Tom's artworks are licensed for use on Fine products sold in retail locations like Crate & Barrel, Nordstroms, Pier 1 Imports and Pottery Barn.
WORKSHOPS and SLR TRAINING: Tom offers workshops for those needing to learn the basics of fundamental D-SLR function, and also conducts advanced nature landscape photography technique workshops for those seeking to take their photography to a higher level. For more information please refer to the official homepage website.
ARTIST STATEMENT: My goal is to create original Fine Art Photographs. I believe firmly in 'Quality over Quantity' and meeting the high standards set for Fine Art Photographers. The process is characterized by attention to detail, deliberate actions, and being observant to capture the scene in appropriate lighting. Each artwork is a composite of technical excellence and artistic inspiration. I do not allow the camera to make decisions for me. It is a mechanical device that does not express my passion or feelings for the subject.
Capturing the key ingredients of a dynamic composition is quite exhilarating. An interesting subject, dramatic lighting and visual impact are what I seek out. The images I create share my unique personal vision for the subject before me. I am in awe of nature and deeply influenced to connect with people through my photography.
STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY REQUEST: Photography is both a passion and a business for myself. I am a 'rights managed' photographer, meaning I represent my own work. I price and negotiate all of my license agreements. I respond to inquires cheerfully and diligently when I am approached in a professional and courteous manner. I create contracts that clarify the specific use based on your needs.
