Tom creates unique, dynamic & expressive landscapes with a style all his own. He resides in the scenic Litchfield Hills of northwestern Connecticut. Capturing the essence and pace of time, scenes of his native New England makes up a large volume of his portfolio. His personal statement reveals a bit more information in this Bio.

PERSONAL STATEMENT: My goal is to create uniquely original Fine Art Photographs. I believe firmly in 'Quality over Quantity' and meeting the high standards set for Fine Art Photographers. The process is a well choreographed combination of attention to detail, deliberate actions, being observant to capture appropriate lighting and applying my own interpretation of the scene. Each artwork is a composite of technical excellence and artistic inspiration. 'I do not allow the camera to make decisions for me. It is a mechanical device that does not express my passion or feelings for the subject, nor does it understand the concept of the story I am trying to tell.' Capturing the key ingredients of a dynamic composition is quite exhilarating. Interesting subjects, dramatic lighting and visual impact are what I seek out. The images I create share my unique personal vision for the subject before me. I am in awe of nature and deeply influenced to connect with people through my photography.
LICENSING REQUEST: Photography is both a passion and a business for myself. I am a 'rights managed' photographer, meaning I represent my own work. I price and negotiate all of my license agreements. I do not consider myself a Stock photographer, however I am always open to a request to use many of my images for commercial, corporate or website and publication use. I respond to inquires cheerfully and diligently when I am approached in a professional and courteous manner. I create contracts that clarify the specific use based on your needs.
My rates are fair and affordable. When inquiring about licensing any of my artwork, you must provide me with very specific details about your project or publication. Thank you for your patience.
