Born in San Francisco to an eclectic upbringing, 3satva drew dinosaurs and flying cars as a child. Fascinated by ancient cultures and cyber punk science fiction books, he forced himself to develop his skills in order to portray the visions that come to his mind. 3satva utilizes markers and colored pencils which give his art a sharp yet painted feel. With these materials, he blends future and ancient aesthetics with modern graffiti and comic book styles. 3satva has created a graphic novel TRIAD SPHERE using the markers and pencils to illustrate each and every frame. At over 100 pages, the graphic novel expresses his alternate world in a base of ancient plots mixed with synthetic agendas.
3satva has been selling art prints on the streets of Los Angeles since 2004. Finding packed clubs and raves as well as busy days at Venice Beach, he has sold hundreds of prints to the youth of Los Angeles. Honing his street display, and forming a target audience, he has learned quickly how the public responds to his work.
