Tilly Strauss - Fine Artist

Tilly Strauss lives on a farm in tthe Berkshire foothills of NY, with her chickens and extended family. Her studio is in a barn. Her subjects are taken from the local scenery. She is a daily painter and considers the exersize of painting a sacred act. By painting each day she attempts to discover the story of life, death and the flow of Time.
Strauss exhibits locally and has found a successful following across the country. Her work has shown at the Attleboro Museum, the Berkshire Museum, the Albany Center Galleries, St John’s University, and has been printed in the New York Times, the Poughkeepsie Journal, the Pulse, and the Millerton News, among others.
