Tilly Strauss recently moved to Miami from a farm in the Berkshire foothills of NY. She considers painting a sacred act. By painting each day she attempts to discover the story of life, death and the flow of Time.
Strauss exhibits and has found a successful following across the country. Her work has shown at the Attleboro Museum, the Berkshire Museum, the Albany Center Galleries, St John's University, and has been printed in the New York Times, the Poughkeepsie Journal, the Pulse, and the Millerton News, among others.

A contest winner, Tilly Strauss will be installing a giant 2D cutout wooden Dove with an Olive Branch above the alter of the First Congregational Church in Poughkeepsie NY for an unveiling March 26th 10am. The work will be installed through May 24th.
In addition to the Dove, there is a crafted sculptural nest, made of vines, sticks, and rags inscribed with hopes, wishes and dreams for a new life, all woven together. In the nest are 100 white feathers with passaged from the Bible that reflect on Peace and Love for tan interactive experience with the work.
