Tim Scoggins graduated from Colorado Institute of Art in 1981, and immediately began his career as an illustrator. After freelancing for 4 years Tim was hired as the staff artist for Copley Los Angeles Newspapers. He worked at the newspaper and also continued taking on a wide variety of freelance illustration assignments. After 10 years, and about one thousand illustrations later, Tim left the newspaper and went freelance full time.
