I remember getting my first camera when I was 10 years old. It was a 126 Instamatic. I shot all the holidays for my family and never stopped taking pictures. I always hated taking people pictures because most people make silly or un-natural faces and expressions when they know they are being photographed. This led me to landscape photography. I have always been the guy chasing the sun at dusk and dawn, searching for a place to shoot the dramatic images that appear at those magical hours.
I moved to the Blue Ridge mountain area because I love the mountain roads and scenes in this area. The beautiful horse farms, rugged mountains and endless back roads have always called to me to pack up my Nikon and ride the roads searching for the shots my eye yearns to see. I find myself lost on top of mountains and in places most people would never drive to. I just cannot get enough of this area especially in spring and fall.
I have not shared my photos with anyone except a few friends and family, nor have I ever even printed themů.until recently. I started printing and sharing them and I now have my shots hanging in Galleries and Art shows. I hope you enjoy my point of view and enjoy looking at my shots as much as I enjoy taking them.
I live in Berryville, Virginia with my wife of 15 years, my son and daughter. Thank you for looking.
