I believe painters should be able to paint anything that inspires them. Markets change, but I paint for myself. I paint what I like and what I think other people might like. I have been painting with oils and pastels on and off since 1971 because my career does not give me enough time. But when I have the time to paint, I like to use my imagination.

I have studied with Karean O'Neel when I lived in Solvang, CA. I have also studied painting at Monterey High School in the 1980s and I have studied at the Sunset Center in Carmel, CA with the help of painter David Allan from 1995 to 2005, and also at the Monterey Peninsula College. Even though I have taken art classes, I have learned to paint almost entirely on my own.

Each of my paintings is a creative expression of my soul. My goal is to give you peace and inspiration every time you look at my art. Enjoy!
