I am a professional photographer and teacher of photography living in the town of Coaldale, AB, Canada. Coaldale is a small town of about 7,000 people on the outskirts of the city of Lethbridge, AB. I’ve been a photographer since 1966 and a professional since 2002 having retired from a busy corporate life in the process control business. I love to create unique images of wherever I’ve been and have a beautiful collection of fine art prints. I’m the District Representative for the Canadian Association of Photographic Arts (CAPA). I often put on seminars, workshops and photo courses in the Lethbridge region and will be expanding that to other parts of the world during photo tours. I have work displayed all over the world in private collections and I keep expanding it every year. I’m married to my beautiful wife Maggie and have three grown children and three grand children living in Canada.

After reviewing my site and recognizing the changes that needed to be made in order to make it more effective as a selling tool, I decided to harmonize the pricing for all my images. You will notice that some prices for the smaller sizes have gone up slightly while those for the larger sizes have gone down significantly. Overall the pricing is very affordable regardless of the size of the print you purchase. At the same time I have reduced some of the available sizes, especially in the smaller offerings. I found that they were not representative of the work I do in the smaller sizes and therefore didn't do them justice, in my opinion. I offer to everyone that really wants one of my images in a different size than what's regularly offered, the opportunity to contact me and I will make whatever size you need available on this site up to the limit of the technology available. Tom Buchanan Presents His Images

Coaldale, AB - July 17th, 2010

After years of collecting images through his lenses, Tom Buchanan has decided to present his fine art collection through Fine Art America on his new website. Tom has been photographing things for over three decades and has been a professional portrait, event and commercial photographer for eight years. His images have been captured from all over western Canada and the US and locally in Southern Alberta. Tom is a well known teacher of photographic technique and is the regional representative of the Canadian Association of Photographic Arts in Southern Alberta. He is also a member of the Photographic Society of America. His images range from landscapes, both traditional and contemporary to some of the most beautiful and relaxing flowers ever seen. He will be adding to his visible collection over the next few months from tens of thousands that he owns. Tom encourages feedback and always replies to inquiries.
