In the interval between being a kid with creative talent and doing something with it, I more or less followed the path of least resistance from mail clerking at an ad agency to managing the Personnel Department of a mid-sized investment dealer, from which I resigned after 8 years, bought a portable typewriter, and began the process of taking up where I'd left off 25 years earlier. I focused, in the early stages, on writing, in later stages, on illustrating. My work has appeared, among other places, in Canadian and American publications and on a bloke's chest in London. During Aug/Sept 2005, I was Apple iCard's featured artist. Several of my illustrations have been featured on Fine Art America's home page, most recently 'painter'.
