Local photographer Toni Kistner specializes in countryside landscapes and historical structures in Bucks and Montgomery Counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Her motivation for photographing these treasures, is ultimately for historic preservation. Too many historical properties, scenic acreage and colonial structures are falling victim to local politics, poor preservation laws, and unreasonable inheritance taxes that work against the survival of the family farm, many of which are unique to the this famous York Road corridor from Philadelphia to New York.
Toni is an active member of The Millbrook Society (Hatboro), Horsham Preservation and Historical Association, Friends of Graeme Park, and The Hatboro Residents' Association.
A PERCENTAGE OF YOUR PURCHASE, WILL GO TO THE CORRESPONDING PRESERVATION GROUP OF THE AREA IN WHICH THE PHOTO WAS TAKEN.
It is hoped you may find some new appreciation for the beauty that still exists in Bucks and Montgomery Counties through this work. Perhaps you may be inspired to do a little something to preserve it, before it is gone forever.
