Tonya Romano Schultz, a member of the local art community and longtime resident of Lompoc, formerly taught in the Lompoc Unified School District, and now a Marriage and Family Counselor with Valley Medical Group has been creative all her life. She has enjoyed quilting, writing, gardening, sewing, and knitting. The addition of acrylic painting to her life, in her words, 'makes my heart sing.' She brings a sense of abstract dimension and rich color to her work. Most of her paintings are of an organic nature, with fullness and a sense of joy and love of life. She describes her work as impressionist and abstract.
