I began my art career using oil paints and I taught that medium for many years at my studio in Conway, Arkansas. A few years later I studied watercolors and acrylics and used these two water-based media almost exclusively for many years. Recently, however, I find myself reaching once again for my oil paints. It's rather like being reunited with an old friend I haven't seen in years.
