I started painting in Feb of 2012 and have completed several landscapes. I took up painting on a lark, wondering if I could learn to express myself through this medium and to find an activity to do in my semi-retirement. I find painting provides me a means to relax and reduce the stress level in my life. I also enjoy landscape photography.
I am currently taking classes from Annette Ramsey of HeART Enterprises.Inc. I have also completed DVD lessons from Jerry Yarnell and Bob Davies and am a member of The Arts Colony in Corona, CA.
By profession, I am a college instructor who teaches Philosophy, Ethics, Critical Thinking and World Religions in our local community college and and computer applications courses at our recreation center.

I am married (40 years!) and have two grown daughters and a granddaughter who is the apple of Papa's eye. My wife and I like to travel and we frequently stop so that I can shoot nature pictures.
