I am a self-taught photographer actively engaged in professional photography since 1992. My favorite areas to photograph are the state and national parks, local scenics, the California coastline, and locations to which I may travel.
I have won recognition in local area contests, served as 'official' photographer for several organizations and published both nationally and internationally. I am co-owner of a small photography business under the name of Image Crafters Photography through which I sell my photographs and work with clients in need of images in their specific area of interest.
I attempt to craft images of life with an emphasis on events and occurrences that do not happen often or are not seen very often that show the beauty of our world, e.g. a cruise ship caught in the red light of a morning sunrise, a schooner in a setting sun, a rare weather occurrence, a special landscape, etc.. All of these events can be captured and frozen in time using a still camera...Each image is a special moment in time stopped and preserved for others to see.
