My passions are painting, photography, writing and theater. As a painter I use many mediums but primarily Oils, Acrylics and Water Color. I studied at Bretton Hall, College of Music, Art and Drama, in the 1960's and obtained a BA Hons Degree in Fine Art at Carmarthen Art School in Wales UK. (June 2009)
After graduating in June 2009 I won first prize with, The Bowl of Night, in a major painting competition at MOMA in Machynlleth in Wales.
I have exhibited in group shows in the London Mall Gallery, the Society of Women Artists and at many other venues in the UK. I have also had solo exhibitions and many open studio events at my home.
I taught for almost 30 years and then achieved my life long ambition to be an actress by training at the Courtyard Theatre training company in London in 1990 when I was fifty!
All aspects of theater life are still my passion but I am a better painter than actress!
In order to feed my mind, and hopefully become a better thinker, I studied Philosophy for three years at The University of Wales in Lampeter UK from 1999 to 2002.
And, wanting to think and paint, more conceptually is the reason I studied for my BA in Fine Art in my sixties.
