Bill is an award-winning and published fine art photographer whose work has been juried into numerous art shows at the local, regional, and national levels, including a national show at the Butler Institute of American Art. Interested in photography since childhood, he was able to immerse himself in it when he retired early from an administrative position at a local community college. Bill uses photography to explore his creativity and is always trying new approaches and techniques. He definitely sees photography as a journey rather than a destination.
Regardless of the venue, Billís goal is always the same; to create photographic images of things that move him in ways that share those emotions with the viewer. Whether bicycling across Europe with a camera strapped to his back or shooting scenes at a local park, Billís enthusiasm for photography is infectious. He sees it as the perfect medium for a guy transitioning from button-down shirts to jeans and sneakers.
Bill and his wife, who is a painter, live in Brunswick, Ohio and share an enthusiasm for art. They are both represented by the Sparrow Art Gallery and Studio in Lodi, Ohio and are very active in the local arts community.
