God-given talent and a lifetime of opportunity have produced hundreds of beautiful works inspired by the deep inner desire to create a personal rendition of the wonders of life as I experience them. Inspired by the masters and fashioned by diversity, I continue to delve into my creative unknown adding new media to the repertoire of my abilities. I am humbled and encouraged by the appreciation of my work by others.

At age six, my natural ability to produce legible artwork from my imagination emerged. At eight, I attended my first drawing class at the Cincinnati Art Museum. My work earned awards and acclaim during my school years. I attended Miami University majoring in Art Education. Before completing my education, I married and had two sons. During the next several years, I became involved in a local theater group working on set design where I truly discovered for the first time that I was, indeed, gifted. My work from this point on was still only a 'past time' as my full time job was Mother, Wife, etc.

Pastels had always eluded me until I watched a talented portraitist for an hour at a mall show and returned home to do one of my own. The likeness was good, but the shyness of working with a new medium showed. One year later, I toured from Florida to upper New York state with a fine art exhibition group, honing my pastel skills and selling many works before they were completed and produced what I like to call 'my masterpiece', 'Sant Kirpal Singh'.

Having mastered pastels, I chose to do large murals and teach privately. In 2001, I studied portraiture in oils with Carin Hebenstreit at the Cincinnati Art Museum, after which, I painted 'India Boyer'. My most recent work has been oil portraits of various dog breeds. From commissions in soft sculpture to a four-head bust cast in bronze, I have had a remarkably prolific creative life. Thank you.
