Winona Steunenberg resides in rural Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada with her husband, David and their four children. She loves to travel with her family, experiencing new places and cultures, creating wonderful memories.
She began her journey in watercolor painting when her daughter encouraged her one day to take a watercolor art class. That was the beginning of an exciting new journey for her and she has not looked back since, enjoying and savoring every moment. Her camera is her ever ready tool to capture a scene and bring it to life in her painting.
Winona looks at the world through passionate eyes and her art is a reflection of that passion. It is her desire to glorify the Creator in her art and recognizes that all gifts come from Him. She loves to bring out the special details in a painting that cause them to come to life in a vibrant and powerful way. She loves texture and enjoys playing with different techniques that create visual texture.
