Woody Bower lives in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina and during his long business career lived in all four corners of the US and beginning in 1993, traveled extensively to many regions of the world. Those travels gave him an aesthetic appreciation of both the Natural and Man-made beauty that surrounds us and began his interest in photography. These forays into some of the most beautiful representations of earth's bounty have provided him with a desire to record and share the visions of the Celtic and US Coastal Regions he has experienced with everyone. Woody began participating in local and Regional Art and Craft Shows in 2009 in prior to retiring in 2010. Woody is a member of the Seacoast Artist Guild and the Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild, and served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Seacoast Artist Guild from 2012-2014. His work is presented at the Chapin Park and Market Common (Myrtle Beach, SC) Art in the Park show series in April, June, October and November, as well as other local and Regional Arts & Crafts fairs. Additionally, Woody’s works, along with an additional 70+ Seacoast Artists Guild members, can now be viewed at the new Seacoast Artists Gallery in The Market common at 3032 Nevers Street Myrtle Beach, SC 29576, where he is also the Gallery Director.
Woody started Island Treasures, LLC, and then developed the CelticAndCoastalVisions.com web site for two key reasons: to celebrate the boundless beauty of our natural surroundings and to preserve the visual impacts of some of Mans most stunning creations.
