Yu graduated from Shaanxi art university in 1992,In this art university, she was obtained extensive training which include represtation,impressionistic and modern expressionistic displines.
Yu traveled around china, from west to east, north to south. worked as teacher and ID in school and softwords company. These experenices gave her many creative ideas.
Yu's oil paintings posses both emotional depth and breadth. Her deeply romantic approach to subjects as varied as landscapes city, seascape and dance scenes.All paintings are full of happy and hope,with a classical 19th centry European impreesionist style.
Yu's work with oil,acrylic,pastel and charcoal as well as mutli media.She use photography and computer technology in her research practice.
The colors that characterize her paintings reflect the color of life and render likeness and personal stylizations indissolute, yu gives credit to her sitters because they allow themselves to be thoroughly scrutinizied.
