The plains of Abraham in Quebec city is one of the most beautiful parks I have seen.

This is an invented landscape, reflecting my attraction to nature in its primitive state, uninfluenced by the desires and occupations of the human mind.

This painting is of a mountain stream near where I lived in Vermont. One of my favorite activities is to follow streams to thier source. It is somehow symbolic of the spiritual quest.

I just love the light and energy after a storm has passed. This painting captures that feeling and invites one to enter into this wild space, follow the river and dissapear into the mountains

When one enters the forest in silence and openess, with re-spect, there is so much life and soul, a special kind of light. One experiences great wonderment.

This realistic impression is an invented space which unveiled itself as I put the paint on the canvas. It is a fun way to paint, and a journey of discovery reflecting inner reality as much as the natural world around us.
