This old truck sat in an abandoned field in the middle of nowhere. I drove past it several times a week and finally decided I had to paint it. I was quite pleased with the result.

There is a parable in the New Testament about 10 virgins. Five are wise and five are foolish. This painting represents that parable. I purposely did not designate a meaning to each woman, rather, I left it open for the viewer to decide.

This painting was done from a mount. I hung it on my wall and set up my easel in front of it. It took me a few weeks, but I finally got the painting to the end result that you see here.
