This is wax on a mirror with a coating of diamond glaze to protect the surface. It is mounted on a same sized cradled board with waxed edges.

Always in the experimental mode and while doing image transfers with clear film thought of an underlay of wax to see the effect and liked it. I have worked with this some more since with results I like.

Because of the mat this might not stay but thought it was an interesting piece done in wax. Inspired by a friend that does wood carving and I wondered if the effect could be done in wax.
