Painting fleshtones is very challenging,,,and rewarding. Getting the reflected light just right is key to representing skin tones.

This painting was an attempt to tell a story...about a child's excitment at opening a present.

Painting these blues was so pleasant! And seeing how they resonated when magenta was added to the background, a a juicy peach to the foreground...welll.. Heaven!
