With all the toucans i saw, it was difficult to capture one that was still enough long enough to capture the shot. This was taken on a relaxing cruise down the river and fortunately i had my camera ready at that moment.

For seven years I've chased this bird to get a good picture and I finally did. In fact, this little beauty sat still for almost twenty minutes while I snapped and snapped.

This male impala is more curious about us than we are about him. The markings on his rear is sometimes referred to as McDonalds impala, as it resembles the McDonald's 'm'.

The defassa waterbuck is distinguished from the Common Waterbuck, both found in East Africa, by the white pattern on its rump.
