Adam was born in 1981 in Wayne, Michigan to a working class family. After setting out on his own at the age of 17 and moving around the state, Adam settled in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His first solo exhibition, "Segments, Squares, Orange" premiered at the Dreamland Theater in 2003 and since then he has held 9 other solo exhibits and has been in over 20 group shows.
