I was born and raised in Essex, England. At high school I studied Art for four years. In 1946/47 I lived in Minden, Germany and studied Embroidery Design which I continued in England after marriage in 1950. Following the birth of our daughter, we emigrated to Canada and lived in Toronto, Ontario where I attended Art lessons at the Art Gallery of Ontario. On retiring to beautiful B.C. in 1987, I was able to devote more time to my art, concentrating on watercolors, inks and collage. During the past ten years I have enjoyed the freedom and challenge of Creative Art using acrylic paints and inks.
