Jera Sky was a self proclaimed artist by the age of 5 and continued that amateur mentality until she sold her first piece of art in high school and became a professional. She studied drawing, fine art and art history at The University of New Mexico but eventually switched to a degree in Film. She also found that she could learn more about art and design on the internet than through classes which hindered her creativity and abilities.
