Stephanie Ward uses a variety of drawing supplies--paint markers, pencil, pastel, acrylic and water color--to create her works on paper. Her bold compositions approach the subject with a sense of fantasy and whimsy. She has physical disabilities resulting in low muscle tone, severe dyslexia, and developmental delays, but she said, "My art gives me a lot of confidence and something that I can feel successful at. I like trying new things so I'm not afraid of starting anything different. I feel equal to others with my art."
