My name is Ana Maria Edulescu. I am a full time painter and I live in Bucharest, Romania. Most of my paintings are oils on stretched canvases. I love oil paints because I enjoy so much the ''onctuosity'' of this medium. As an effect of my total sincerity to myself in the act of painting, my subjects are varied, from flowers, cities, animals and birds, portraits to abstract expressionist works. In my opinion, to be diverse does not mean to be marginal and poor, but really to participate, from anywhere, in the perpetual surprise of reality, in the vigorous trust which founds the whole.
