I am an old film photographer that has finally made the transition to the world of DSLR's. As can be seen from my photos my obvious first love in photography is landscapes. I first fell in love with taking landscapes twenty some years ago on a trip to the Rocky Mountains. I had come to idolize the work of Galen Rowell and after recreating "Alpen Glow" in some of my slides with moderate success, I was hooked. I am constantly on the look out for the next great landscape. I especially love to take photographs in the hours right before and right after sunrise and sunset when the color in the world just seems to come alive.
