Sandra Kern

Sandra Kern was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1970. Since the age of 15, she attended to courses in painting and drawing investigating various techniques such as watercolor, tempera and oil painting. The first contact with the silk painting dates back over twenty-five years ago, today this is one of her favorite techniques that she performs at the highest level. Sandra lives since about twenty years in Italy and for several years she worked in her workshop "Il Girasole", a workshop of Siena specialized in hand-painted silk and batik art.
