Thank you, Ana, to start this beautiful thread, I do love flowers and have plenty in my collection, some of them:
And here is the words of Eckhart Tolle, which I love much:
"Flowers, more fleeting, more ethereal and more delicate than the plants out of which they emerged, would become like messengers from another realm, like a bridge between the world of physical forms and the formless. They not only had a scent that was delicate and pleasing to humans, but also brought a fragrance from the realm of spirit. Using the word "enlightenment" in a wider sense than the conventionally accepted one, we could look upon flowers as the enlightenment of plants".
All those sensual lines of petals, tender and bright colors, the play of light, every detail and curve is inviting you into the world of beauty and elegance.

I don't have many flower shots, there are already a gazillion out there but who knows, I may have one somebody likes.
How about some Tiny Flowers. I think the biggest one in my Tiny Flowers gallery is Chickweed, slightly larger than a pencil eraser. This one is a cluster of smaller ones, about 1/4 inch each.
Dove's Foot Cranesbill. About pencil eraser size. Where do they get these names??? I find thid small flower in this pale pink color and a deeper purplish red too.
Henbit. This flower blooms starting in fall and all through the winter, I've seen them covered in frost. Henbit could hide behind a pencil. I'm using the pencil as a comparison here because it's a very familiar item, most people will easily understand the comparison.
Ladies Tresses Orchids. These tiny match head size flowers also bloom in fall.
And some not quite as small. Bird's Eye Speedwell, not quite small enough for the Tiny Flowers gallery, macro of Passionflower, and Butterfly Weed, a variety of Milkweed.

I cannot figure out why the thumbnail for "Nature's Bouquet" above is so washed out!! If you click on it, you will see that the picture is much brighter!! Just wondering if any one else has that problem? It's not the only picture this has happened with & I'm trying to figure out the cause!!!

I see what you mean...it's definitely brighter when clicked on. BTW, that is a gorgeous image!
