Scenic Landscape Paintings - (no Digital, Abstract, Fantasy Or Photo) Read

Many of these works get buried in groups with broad criteria. The emphasis here is on " scenic" : what you would find in rural areas vs urban.

The work must be in oil, acrylic, watercolor or pastel and is for both the studio artist and plein air artists.

NO digital, abstract, fantasy or photos.

People, animals, architecture, flowers should NOT be the focus of the " scenic picture" selected and posted.

CALL for ARTISTS

The majority of artists post their work to FAA Groups, hoping and waiting for something to happen. That is NOT promoting, .... it is archiving. This is done into an assortment of over 2000 FAA Groups.

EVERY ONE of our paintings NEEDS 1. Comments, 2. to be Favored, 3. receive Votes, 4. be featured in Groups, 5. have key words which relate with the painting, .... and 6. SALES ...( among some 25 things ) so the work is FOUND & PLACED by search engines. This is why it is NECESSARY for us to support one another.

PAY IT FORWARD = PAY IT BACK

1... IF ...you are one of 115 Scenic Landscape Painters that has been hosted/featured in this Gallery ...
2... Who needs and wants additional support for your work ...
3... Who is committed to being equally supportive in return ...

Randomly, here are six paintings ( they're mine ) which need support. I am seriously searching for those of you who are supportive, in like kind and need. OR .. select another, one to your liking from my portfolio. The idea, and important thing is ... to begin ...The more that you DO support , the more it will be returned. Be patient, not many will respond easily, quickly or are comfortable giving comments, favs, votes, etc. The only way to receive these .... is to give them.

It isn't easy for people to change.

It isn't easy for people to accept something other than their preferences.

It isn't easy for people to move out of their personal " I want " into " I need "

It isn't easy for people to move out of " competitive" into " cooperative" --- from the " I , me, mine " ... into " WE" .

Personally, I've learned a lot from doing this thread / Gallery.

Hopefully, you have too. " No one is an island."

Several have stated they wish there was just a group or section for artists / painters.

Seeking out and hosting over 100 of you from various separate FAA groups, isn't the total answer by any means, but it has gathered many together, of common interest, for easier finding, accessing portfolios, getting to know one another and for supporting.

YOUR ART FEATURED IN FAA GROUPS

When your painting get feature into more than three groups, these don't all stay in view beneath your painting: the oldest drops away.

Many have gone back to the group and placed their " thank you for the feature " in the group discussion area.

You may wish to post a 'thank you" into the comments beneath your painting, ,,, making a permanent record .

It is debatable as to how important or of little influence, and / or distracting this might be to a buyer. It's for you to decide.

The paintings hosted in this Gallery will be viewed again and the artist's portfolio of work, accessed. Additional pieces may receive Comments, Fav, and Vote. This painting won " Best of Show" four times. Fifty-seven prints of various sizes have been ordered of it, done and handled locally from those shows.

Has just one been ordered and sold through FAA ? No.!

WHY ? Because here, it is buried in a website, and along with over 200,000 artists / photographers, etc., in all kinds of FAA Groups, all showing hundreds of thousands of pictures.

I can't physically do in-person shows anymore. So, what does one do ? You turn to the Internet and learn all you can.

And finally, ... create a Gallery, on line, of Scenic Landscape Paintings ....for promoting these works to the public, through all the channels available.

The cost ? $30 a year to have a sizable portfolio of work ... and ... commitment, not just to paint more pieces, but to promote the pieces you do have.

For ALL concerned .....THAT is the aim and purpose of this ... hosted, on-line Gallery of over 100 Scenic Landscape Painters.

This... is a hosted Gallery .... of works of over 100 selected SCENIC LANDSCAPE PAINTERS .... which has received over 5000 visits.

These painters, .. are brought together here, from many separate groups where their work is on display, but too often buried and forgotten.

Unlike other art shows, the final "Jury" here, ( on the Internet ) is the .. search engines !

EVERYONE of these painter's paintings, NEEDS to receive, ... Comments, Favored, and Votes, etc, for that "Jury" to FIND and PLACE the scenic landscape works.
