Show Your Architectural Interiors

One of my favorite subjects in photography outside of landscapes, is architectural interiors, particularly of ornate buildings that at least these days, don't get built very often. Anybody have a favorite building like this, that isn't closed to photography, or so overcrowded its hard to do it justice in a single photograph.

It also helps to have an ultra-wide angle lens which I finally got my hands on.

I don't have anything elaborate or extravagant but artistically, I was attracted to the light and shadows on a winding staircase at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, Maryland.

St Marys Church is a little church at Fountain Abbey - a country estat in England. The exterior is very plain and drab but inside has this beautifully painted, amazing ceiling.

I may not have taken this photo..But, I was deeply responsible of much of the design and construction of this building's interior, way back in the 60's.....So in actuality, I take credit for this photo.....It would have been a lot different if it wasn't for me.

By the way, I dealt directly with one of the most renown architectural photographers at that time, EZRA STOLLER

Rich, that is a beautiful College. I have taken several tours through it and it if full of fine art and the largest collation of Tiffany glass in the world.

Love the work I see here! When I get the opportunity, I do some interior photos for designers, but nothing very grand...yet! :)
