New To This Site

I wanted to know if people are able to sell images on this website. I guess what I mean is is it profitable for me to go on this website and post tons of fine art photos to sell.

welcome gina, yes it is possible to sell here, many do. many sell quite well, but you have to promote yourself, FAA does not promote your work for you.

Hi Gina,

Welcome!

It depends on you. This is a great site for uploading and selling your art. But if you just upload your images and don't market yourself, you won't be too successful. FAA does not do marketing and promoting for you.

i sell quite well though june is usually quiet for me. you need lots of good work, lots of good tags, a description for each - and you have to promote yourself, this site won't do that for you. but there is much potential.

Welcome Gina! I'm fairly new here too (a few months) and I'm just starting to get a few sales. Patience is a virtue! :)

Yes you can make money selling here. The key to selling though is marketing your work. I use free tools like Facebook, twitter and a blog. Anything you can do to bring attention to your photos the better. There are some great threads on here about marketing. Welcome to FAA and good luck :)
