Heads Up On Contest By Conde' Naste-vogue

Seems the Vogue contest rules are potentially falling into the "stealing images" side and ASMP has sent out alerts to that matter:

They are "targeting new and emerging artists" since us old guys would never agree to their "contest rules"!!!

Many of these National and International contest and even some of the web site people are moving in that direction, be careful which contests you enter and what you have to agree to,

Their conditions are insane! Who would agree to that? Someone, I guess, but why?

There will be thousands of people that agree to that and that is the issue. ASMP has tried to educate photograpers around the world to understand their rights but not everyone does the "homework" required to know what's acceptable and what is wrong!

90% of the photographers here probably don't know that this contest is wrong. And gladly agree to the rules without reading or understanding the actual results of them sending images to Conde' Nast. he chance to be a "winner' far out weighs the signing away your rights,
