Escheresque Music Art

This is a commissioned work by a band for a poster for them. I drew my inspiration from M.C. Echer for this one and as you may well know I greatly admire his work. I finished it last night and delivered it to them today. I am so Happy! Be sure to Share and Like this!

Follow-up - I have an Escher print in my living room...

Sweet, I really enjoy all of his works. I would hang one on my wall if I had one to hang.

Well, it's just a cheap print. And it's not one of his optical illusion type images - It's a catfish, but it's still very "Escheristic". I was in an antique art shop in Amsterdam and I looked down at a print leaning against the wall and said out loud "Is that an Escher?" The owner got very excited and handed me a magnifying glass so I could inspect it (even though I wouldn't know what to inspect it for) It was indeed, an original Escher print. They wanted $600.00 bucks for it.

Not being a savvy print buyer, and not wanting to drop that much money, I passed. I think about that print from time to time.
