I Don't Usually Do This...

I was uploading art today and I have two versions of one painting and I can't decide which I like better. Is it bad to offer both? If I have to choose one, which one should it be?

Love the darker background, but , why not offer both?

Love it and I would offer both is it were me.

Another vote for Both.

I'd say they're different enough to offer both. That way, if someone wants a matched pair, they're all set. :)

Great work, I would offer both as well, the top looks vintage, and the bottom looks like pop art. Good luck with them both

Taking Christi's matched set a touch further, could you flip one in edit so they could face each other on a wall?

I would offer both as they are both great and the typefaces are different. Very nice work!

Interestingly, the version with the lighter background looks more genuinely retro to me, I'd say offer them both, they're both equally good, but different in mood.

Matched pairs? Awesome idea! Okay, I'll do the flip tonight. Thanks for the feedback!

I agree with posting both. Lots of people buy art to go with the color schemes of some room or other.

BTW, I love that bike. I want one.

JL, someone had an original of that bike for sale on Ebay...$42,000!

Bottom one, more contrast and pops off the page better.

Awesome, love the font in #1 and would use a beige background and burgundy text. The tone of the bike rubber I like better in the second one.

Karyn,
Love the image, and each has its own charm.

If the text is added digitally, consider adding some space between the bike and the text.

Nice work, and agree with offering both. Heck, I'd even do one in b/w just in case someone out there is doing a b/w themed retro space or room.

Do 6 different color themes and combine them into a simple grid like Andy Warhol :)

I prefer the second one for several reasons. As Will suggests, I'd ad some space around the type.

I actually like the second one, the darker one, better.
