this hasn't happened yet and i mentioned it elsewhere but anyway - if we do have puzzles i'd like it to be at least a 1000 pieces. but more importantly i want users to have the option to buy it as a kit. the glue, lacquer, brushes, frame, matting, backing etc, to complete that size puzzle. and if you do have sizes, the physical size could be the amount of pieces. like a small one would be for a kid at like 50 pieces, and the bigger it is, the more pieces it should have.
and of course umbrella's would be way cool
and napkins because people use them up really fast.
It would be great to be able to choose whether or not to offer the metal and acrylic prints. We have that capability with the cards, why not with those products? Sometimes the metal and acrylic prints are not the right aesthetic for certain images!
Limited Time Promotions - couldn't it show up as an option on the image? Then the customer that is wanting a canvas print could see a promotion running on that image? There's no way to even put in a link on the original image page, or make any connection except a comment maybe. You get no promotional number, (I thought there use to be one) and no way to search for it if you had one. This area seems to be really lacking in helping us.
I wonder if it is possible to re-work 'contests' so that votes don't automatically determine the winner. in other words that the contest administrator would have to opportunity to make the final decision?
Something Roy Erickson said in a post and I think it would be a great layout improvement.
Switch places for Keywords and image description. The customer is interested in the description and the description helps to sell the image. It should be in the better spot.
Actually keywords don't need to be displayed at all.
For Groups: When I join a new group, I'd like a button to check that allows me to receive an email every time a new "discussion" or "reply" to a discussion is posted. I know there are people who don't want all the emails, but they don't have to check the box. There are a lot of discussions I would probably participate in "IF" I knew they were going on. And the only way I know is if the Administrator sends a blanket email out to members (which most of them don't). I know we can check the box at the bottom of any of the individual threads, but I want one for the entire "group" page where we join it. Most people are probably members of a lot of groups, and it is nearly impossible to visit each one of them on a regular basis to see what's going on. If we got an email each time a new discussion started, we would have the option to continue receiving posts or stop receiving them, just like we do now. I think this would increase participation in groups overall.
i made a sale last week, i saw there was problems with noise so i fixed it (despite checking everything in my month of repairs). anyway, i got a mail today saying it's a final notice to fix things. but they didn't tell me what to fix - and i never got any other message from them. this is the first one.
most of the week my mail is intermittent, and who knows if it was sent or not. mostly i don't care - but if it means losing a sale, it's a big deal so here are my suggestions:
1. if your mailing anything to the mailbox - send one to the messaging on this site to make sure there is no misses.
2. any problems should be listed on my accounting page. as i mostly logon through the forum - but i did log on normally and didn't see any warning.
3. when we get a complaint, i wish they would tell us whats wrong with the image. its impossible to guess. there is no guidelines that i can follow, so they need to tell us.
4. when sold, don't copy the current file until your ready and need it. it seems you quo the file up and never go back to the original. if you have to copy the image, then at least if there is a problem, can they double check to see if it was fixed after it was bought?
i really don't want to miss sales or make customers wait, i repaired like 200 things so far, and this one slipped through. if i see problems i fix them when sold unless i'm on vacation, or a hurricane blows the power out to the state. can something be adjusted so there is less confusion for the future?
Here's a suggestion relating to the new "iPhone Case" product line... Besides the ability to re-size, and drag the image for the iPhone Case, let's also permit the ability to rotate an image at least 90 degrees to permit horizontally (landscape formatted) images to better fit the iPhone Case for composition and printing.
The ability to rotate the image 180 degrees as well would go even further in allowing the customer to choose which end of a normally horizontal (landscape formatted) image would be at the top (where the lens might interfere with the image composition). This way, the customer could choose the less important area of the image to possibly be cut off by the lens area of the iPhone Case.
Since the vast majority of uploaded images are in the landscape format anyway, this would allow far more in the way of image selection which would translate into an increase in sales and profit for all.
I still think that the Premium Membership perks should include getting one of your art pieces on the Feature Page. It's very HARD to get noticed here - no matter what keywords you use, you're gonna get buried.
a while ago sean mention we aren't going to be listed in google shopping because google removed it from the menu, but it's not removed, and redbubble dominates. it's sort of good because i think this is where my sales are coming from... anyway can we be indexed for google shopping? it's still in use and i think it would boost sales. especially that new stuff. thanks
if someone makes a sale, and they change their image, then any link to that image should change with it. so like when i send people to the front page or if i send a sales announcement, the image shown on that should reflect what it really looks like now. it shouldn't generate at the time of the sale.
