Photos Of Trees?

Who here likes photo's of trees?
Personally I love them, especially photos of trees with gnarled trunks, like a wrinkly old man, they tell a grand old story.
Here's a couple of mine, Lets see some of yours!

Title choice was deliberate -- simply, a tree. Received helpful email identifying it -- that's wasn't the purpose of the shot.

Just the moment -- and, a tree ;)

This discussion got me thinking about trees, so I pulled up and worked on this photo today:

Love those last three Brian.

Snow falls with a tree in the background out of focus.

I appreciate your kind response to my last three images John. Thank you very much! The first two are entirely real, while the last one is entirely digital (done with Photoshop paintbrushes). I did another version of that one with an embedded poem I wrote. The image is large only to make the text more readable...

Shot taken in Annapolis Maryland... This is purportedly the oldest White Mulberry Tree in Maryland.

This is a rework view from another image in my gallery. All the flowers are long gone now, but the tree still stands in what is now a field full of soybeans.

I don't shoot trees much for their own sake, but sometimes they do hold their own. Here is one example. I doubt you'd find a similar tree within a 50 mile radius in this part of the world.
