Wow, just checked my Kindle Stats, 75 downloads! Let me know if you leave a review and I'll send you a couple of Free textures to accompany your free book. This is really a great gift for the beginner.
And I have just learned that due to my books format, Kindle's Comic, you will not be able to read the book on your PC with the Kindle Reader. Sorry. I will let you know when I can release a pdf version for those who wanted to download but could not.
Thanks for the gift of the book, Jean! I have downloaded and read it already...good info in there! I have a Kindle but I downloaded it to my Amazon Cloud, and read it from my main computer. Great work!!!
correct.... I had to "register" the app first. When I clicked on add to my cart... the next screen said it could not find a registered device. So I started the Kindle app on the PC first and tried again and then it worked. You do need an amazon account as well.
Sorry Jean, but I can't read this on my Windows 7 Kindle app, when I try to read it I get an error message "this item is not compatible with this device". Checking on the Amazon web site (UK version) in the section where I can download to various devices the pc device is greyed out.
It seems to work ok on my Android tablet so all is not lost.
Thanks for making the offer by the way, very kind :)
Jean, thank you for this kind offer. I downloaded the book and then the kindle reader for my computer. However, I got the same message as Paul, "this item is not compatible with this device". I do not have a tablet or other reader, but I will wait until the new year to see if anything changes.
I use the kindle app on my android phone. Was able to download and read it on my phone just fine. It was a bit awkward due to the shape of the book but I finally got the hang of it and enjoyed reading it. I don't do much with textures but will be looking into it. Going now to leave a review.
